'Before I was a healer, I was a human trying to survive my own story.'

Owning my own business has been a lifelong dream, and I'm still both in awe of and overwhelmingly grateful for how much my little business has grown.

I've been offering energy work since 2018, and in 2024 I absolutely fell in love with the healing power of touch through massage therapy. What began as a new addition to my practice quickly became an enormous part of the work I love doing.

Today, my work brings together massage, energy work, emotional processing, and everything I've learned along the way about what it means to live well in a human body.

Somewhere along the way, I also found my way back to writing.

In 2024, I published my first book, I Believe, and discovered yet another piece of the life I didn't know I was building.

Writing has become another way for me to explore healing, growth, spirituality, and what it means to be human. And, as tends to happen when I fall in love with something, I now have far more stories waiting to be written than I have hours in the day.

Leo, my Great Pyrenees, came to me 2 weeks before I separated from my ex husband with his sister and brother. The following year was rough and I wasn't able to provide for 3 large livestock guardians in the way I had planned because my plans to build a homestead fell through. I let the other two go to new homes, the hardest decisions I've ever had to make, but Leo is my soul dog and he will be with me until the day one of us ceases to breathe. He is my guardian, protector and emotional support.

Salem is my black cat and spiritual advisor. He may have walked the streets at one time in his past, but today he has been tamed into a wise and kind gentleman. Fun Fact: he can speak several English words including: Hello, Mom, Now? and I swear he said 'morning' once.

Sedona, my orange and white loaf of a cat, brings the definition of cat-hood to life with her 12 hour naps, biscuit kneading and constant purrs. She was a Princess in a previous life and she holds her head as high as would be expected from royalty.

Lady, my Great Dane, who has seen the worst side of humans and will probably always struggle to trust strangers, has finally gained the weight she should have had all along. It's been a long road from skin and bones and timid flinches to trust and puppy joy, but she shows us daily what strength looks like.

I was born and raised in Oregon and living in the panhandle of Nebraska means that I spend a lot of time missing the ocean. However, the prairie has its own beauty and I'm blessed to be growing alongside the grasses that sway in the Nebraska wind.

When I'm not giving massages or healing various generational wounds, I spend every spare moment I can with my fur family.

My favorite color is purple. Someday I want to be a licensed Aeronaut and own my own hot air balloon. I'm always busy trying to learn something new and add modalities to my practice. (In fact, if you ever have requests, just ask!)

I prefer audiobooks over reading books, and my brain is always offering up a song lyric or movie quote for any given situation. I'm a nerd who loves all things Harry Potter, Disney, Star Wars or Lord of the Rings. I want to be a plant person, but they keep committing suicide to get away from me.

My last name (pronounced WAY-lef) is my own creation. After my divorce I didn't want to go back to my maiden name and I didn't want to keep my ex's, so I made up a new one and had it legally changed. It stands for Water, Air, Earth, Love, Ether and Fire. All of the elements + Love.

I've lived enough life to know that none of us really knows what the hell we're doing—and I've come to think that's part of the adventure. I'm still learning, still growing, still asking questions, and still building a life that feels more like mine every day.

I'm glad you're here.

xoxo,
Nicole
